Loretta began her career at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory modelling the jovian magnetosphere to elucidate the journey to jupiter. Her subsequent research in artificial intelligence laid groundwork for innovations in autonomous planning and galaxy classification. Now she's teamed up with NASA's Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley to design planning operations for NASA's first robotic exploration of the lunar south pole to characterize volatile ice in preparation for the first woman to set boots on the moon.
